Day 13 of Counting the Omer

Day 13 of Counting the Omer
April 15

Set apart.

This one feels… different.

Not separate in a lonely way.
Not set apart to be distant.

But set apart to belong.

“…I have set you apart from the other peoples,
so that you can belong to me.”
— Leviticus 20:26

I used to think holiness meant striving—
trying to be better, do better, get it right.

But this feels more like identity.

Chosen.
Marked.
Called His.

Not because I earned it…
but because He said so.

And maybe being set apart
isn’t about being removed from everything—

maybe it’s about being rooted in Him.
