Reflection
As we begin counting the Omer, we remember that it was God’s chesed—His great love—that brought us out of Egypt. Before we even knew how to walk in holiness, He extended mercy. This is the love that goes first.
Scripture
Give thanks to Adonai, for he is good,
for his grace continues forever. – Psalm 136:1
On that very day, Adonai brought the people of Isra’el out of the land of Egypt by their divisions.
